Thankful Monday?

Yep, you read that right. It's Monday, and I'm thankful. Of course, sillies, I do try to be thankful every day. But everyone knows you post what you're thankful for on Thursday, not Monday! But I'm doing so today because I'm thankful for the very nice bloggy award I received this morning from, Daisy at Dr. Mommy Chronicles. Daisy is a chiropractor who homeschools her 5 children, authors numerous blogs, and whose many talents include making jewelry. She's very knowledgeable and interesting to read. And she gave me the "You Rock" award! I love that. I've found myself saying that phrase a lot lately to others, so it means a lot that someone thinks I rock.

I may not have won my contests, but I did win a blog award! Thanks so much, Angela, from Unexpected Art! Angela is a wiz - she knows it all about computers and social media. What I love most about her blog is that it focuses on the positive things in life. She's definitely someone I'd like to hang out with!

Here's the award she gave me - the I Heart Your Blog award! Isn't it cute? I love it!

Now I have to do my part and pass the award onto other blogs I love. This is SO hard! I love so many. But I'll give it a try. As a matter of fact, I'm picking eight, the rules say AT LEAST seven! BTW, I'm picking blogs that I didn't choose for the last blog award - I want to spread the love around. I've met so many wonderful bloggers with terrific things to share. Here are my picks. I'm Feelin' the Love!

One more thanks goes out this morning. This time to Willow at Apron Strings and Angst. Willow chose ME for an award - the "Sharing the Love Award", no less. I'm so honored. Today is a banner day for me with the recognition I received from MomDot (see post below) and this wonderful award! Thank you, Willow.

Choosing blogs to pass the love onto was hard. I love so many. But here are my choices, those blogs and bloggers that have had an impact on me or to whom I feel a connection.

Walking Through - Nadia is so eloquent; she writes absolutely beautiful posts. And her insight always puts things in perspective for me!

Magic and Mayhem - Alicia's blog is new to me, but I feel like I've met a kindred spirit. She adds an intelligent spin to her posts that I love.

We Make Three - Myra writes some of the most heartfelt posts and was one of the first people to welcome me to the blogging world. She's just wonderful.

One-Woman Show - Of course, I can't forget Susan. She's my writing buddy, the first blogger friend I met in person. And she's funny; her posts are so relatable!

ParentsCanada.com - Lisa is a freelance writer who has been very generous in offering me advice. Her site is packed full of great content and useful information for parents.

Ann Again...and Again - Doesn't everyone love Ann? She's so friendly and honest in her posts. She's also a hoot - she cracks me up!
